Back Porch Grill at Clear Creek Harbor opens

The Back Porch Grill at Clear Creek Harbor is now open! The restaurant features the best fried shrimp, oysters and home battered, fresh mushrooms any where in the state!

The owner/operators, Kristi Fincher and Lee Cook, are very excited about their new restaurant and are looking forward to seeing all of their former Finchers customers as well as first time visitors.  A great new atmosphere for lakeside dining and an extensive menu featuring fresh and homemade food.  Both dine-in (shirt & shoes required) and "To Go" orders are available.  Call 256-268-9317 to place your "To Go " order.

American ProCatters Monster Tournament, June 15 and 16

Logan Martin Lake is the location of the 2012 American ProCatters Monster tournament on June 15 and 16 and Clear Creek Marina is the official weigh-in site! This will be one of the biggest catfish tournament ever held and will likely offer the most prize money ever awarded for catfishing. The tournament will also be broadcast nationwide.

All three main species of catfish live in Lake Logan Martin with a number of 60 to 70 pound monsters in the waters.

A great summer

So far it's been a great summer on Clear Creek Harbor. While we've had some hot days, the water has been perfect and the fishing good.

Ice on the harbor

Thanks to the cold snap, the entire harbor has a thin layer of ice on it. No one remembers the last time this happened, and the ice will be gone soon. But we can't wait for winter to be over and summer to arrive.

Camping for Talladega Motor Speedway

Don't forget Clear Creek Harbor is located near the historic town of Talladega, home of the Talladega Motor Speedway and Pell City.
